Microsoft Desktop Virtualization Takes Shape with Windows Thin PC

CRN: Microsoft has announced the availability of a release candidate for its Windows Thin PC software. More than 12,000 customers have signed up to test drive the desktop virtualization software that locks down PCs so that they cannot store applications or files on their hard drives.

The full version of the software is scheduled to be released in June.
