Cnet: At the BlackBerry World conference, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer made an appearance to announce a new partnership between the RIM and Microsoft. RIM will now integrate Bing search and mapping features into the BlackBerry operating system.
The announcement was somewhat surprising as the two companies are direct competitors in the mobile operating system market.
