Reuters: Unnamed sources say that Twitter has made an offer to acquire TweetDeck, which makes an interface for accessing Twitter feeds. The offer would be worth between $40 billion and $50 billion, depending on the value of Twitter sales. If TweetDeck accepts, the deal could close in just 10 days.
TweetDeck is reportedly mulling over another, lower offer from UberMedia.
