The Guardian: This morning when he woke up to the news that Osama bin Laden had been killed, Abbottabad-based IT consultant Sohaib Athar realized that he had tweeted about the attack without knowing about it. Athar lives about 250 meters from the compound. Around 1 am local time, he tweeted about helicopters hovering nearby, calling it a "rare event."
"Since taliban (probably) don't have helicopters, and since they're saying it was not 'ours,' so must be a complicated situation," he tweeted in the night.
Around 10 am local time, he realized, "Uh oh, now I'm the guy who liveblogged the Osama raid without knowing it."
