Wall Street Journal: Just days after senior vice president Jonathan Rosenberg announced that he was leaving the company, Google's new CEO Larry Page has announced that he will promote six executives, four of whom are software engineers, to senior vice president. Salar Kamangar (YouTube), Andy Rubin (Android), Sundar Pichai (Chrome), Vic Gundotra (social-networking), Susan Wojcicki (advertising) and Alan Eustace (Web search) will now report directly to Page.

Separate reports say that Page has also issued a memo informing employees that their bonuses will be tied to the company's social networking performance.
