Going Corporate: Chrome Getting Admin-Friendly

Although it began as a consumer-centric browser, Google is refashioning Chrome for the enterprise.

Cnet: Google originally aimed its Chrome browser at the consumer market, but now it's refitting the tool for the enterprise. At the Google Chrome administrative information site, the company has posted a number of tools for corporate admins, including quick start guides, templates for setting group permissions and more.

Enterprise administrators can use policies to determine a number of Chrome settings for corporate users, such as setting users' home page, disabling certain plug-ins and how often to check for updates.
