eWeek: Research firm Gartner has revised its predictions for PC sales in the second half of the year because of uncertain economic conditions. The company now expects 15.3 percent PC sales growth in the second half of 2010, a two percent reduction from their previous forecast.
Gartner believes that businesses will be unable to put off upgrading their aging PC fleets much longer without alienating employees and increasing costs for support, service and eventual Windows 7 upgrades.
