FriendFeedGlobal CIO: Supercomputer maker Cray and Microsoft have announced that they will be working together to promote next-generation cloud-computing data centers. The goal of the project is to encourage the adoption of new infrastructure that will increase performance and lower TCO.
Cray's Chuck Morreale added that "the results of the project have the potential to deliver significant cost savings for operating a cloud-computing data center."
