NetworkWorld: On Monday, Cisco introduced a new initiative aimed at providing "always on" security protection for mobile users and better controls over enterprise applications in the cloud. The Secure Borderless Network architecture will bring enhancements to the Cisco AnyConnect client, Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) and Cisco's IronPort Web Security appliance.
"The traditional VPN works great when it's on," said Cisco's Tom Gillis, but the new product would "automatically log you in" and "maintain session state."
