eWeek: Earlier in the week, rumors flew that Oracle planned to stop offering OpenSolaris as a free download after an article titled "End of Service Life Status for OpenSolaris Operating System" appeared on its Web site. "Keep it movin', folks ... nothing to see here," Oracle's Letty Ledbetter wrote in an e-mail to eWeek. "The page is a policy page to describe how the service life of the product works. [We're] not announcing EOL [for OpenSolaris]."
